General product information
HITEC® O-ring EPDM 70.10-02 is a high-quality EPDM O-ring for water, steam and general industrial sealing applications. The peroxide cross-linked EPDM material provides strong resistance to hot water, ozone, weathering and aging, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor equipment. It is commonly used in pumps, valves, pipe systems, heating installations and technical assemblies where reliable water-based sealing is required. Example industries include HVAC, water treatment, building technology, food and beverage, sanitary systems, agriculture and general machinery. This EPDM O-ring is a cost-effective solution for applications where flexibility, environmental resistance and long service life are essential. A peroxide cross-linked high performance EPDM material (ethylene-propylene-diene elastomer) with very good resistance to hot water, steam, alkali, mild acidic or oxygenated solvents and ozone. In addition, this EPDM is characterized by a very low compression set and an operating temperature of -55 to +150°C.
Due to the more than 20 approvals for food and drinking water, this elastomer is mainly used in the drinking water and food industry.
