The high-performance material Perfluoro Elastomer, known by the abbreviation FFKM, combines the elastomer’s elasticity and sealing force with the very high chemical resistance of PTFE.

Fields of application of FFKM
EVOLAST® PN896 and Kalrez® 4079 offer very broad chemical resistance with low compression set and a maximum operating temperature up to 316°C.
EVOLAST® PN894 and Kalrez® 6375 are an excellent choice for use in acids, bases, amines, steam, ethylene oxide and many other aggressive chemicals and this at operating temperatures up to 275°C.
EVOLAST® PN794 / Kalrez® 6230 (black material) and EVOLAST® PB794 / Kalrez® 6221 (white material) are mainly used in the pharmaceutical and life science industries and are therefore FDA compliant and USP Class VI approved.
