Unique advantages by combining PTFE and silicone with glass fabric
PTFE and silicone coated fabrics offer unique properties. Both products are based on a glass or aramid fiber fabric impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or silicone. This combination results in a composite material that combines the excellent chemical and physical properties of PTFE or silicone with the dimensional stability and mechanical strength of glass fabrics.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coated fabrics:
A selection of different PTFE coated glass or aramid fiber fabrics offers a wide range to find the right product for different applications, such as heat seal jaws in packaging machines, non-stick coating in food processing, pharmaceutical and chemical plants, etc.
Silicone coated glass fiber fabrics:
They combine the very good strength and dimensional stability of glass fiber fabrics with the excellent properties of the high temperature resistant silicone coating. This product offers excellent thermal and mechanical properties. In addition, the silicone coating offers a higher frictional force than PTFE-coated glass fabrics while maintaining the excellent non-stick properties, especially in contact with sticky substances. With a continuous operating temperature of up to +250 °C, these fabrics can be used in a wide variety of applications, such as heat protection curtains, non-stick coatings or non-stick tapes, etc.
Self-adhesive fabrics and tapes
The range includes all PTFE coated glass fabrics, cut into rolls of various widths. The fabric of these rolls is equipped with a pressure sensitive adhesive layer on one side. This adhesive can be based on silicone or acrylic contact adhesive. Silicone contact adhesive offers an enormously wide range of permanent temperature application from -73 °C to +200 °C, and up to +260 °C for short periods. Acrylic contact adhesive on the other hand has a higher initial adhesion and an application range of -40 °C to +175 °C. The adhesive layer is protected with a protective film and can be removed before use.
PTFE coated glass fabrics type 203 / 205 / 310
Best suited for general use. These fabrics have a smooth surface and exceptional non-stick properties. Mainly used as sealing films in heat sealing and laminating processes, as non-stick surfaces for paints, adhesives, resins and food products.
PTFE coated glass fabrics type 206
Extra thick PTFE coating for conveyor belts that require an extra smooth surface, e.g. laminate sealing films and other heat-sealing and non-stick applications.
PTFE coated glass fabric, antistatic Type 205ED
Antistatic, semi-conductive coatings with carbon fibers for semi-conductive and antistatic material properties. These properties prevent or reduce electrostatic charging in sliding and friction applications.

For almost all applications that require a smooth surface. A product with exceptional non-stick properties. Mainly used as sealing films in heat-sealing and laminating processes, as non-stick surfaces for lacquers, adhesives, resins and food products.
PTFE coated fabrics type 206SA
Extra thick PTFE coating for special applications requiring an extra smooth surface, e.g. laminate sealing films and other heat sealing and coating applications.
PTFE coated fabrics, antistatic Type 205ED SA / 310ED SA
Antistatic, semi-conductive coatings with carbon fibres for semi-conductive and antistatic material properties. These properties prevent or reduce electrostatic problems in strip and draw pallet applications.
